Michelangelo: Born: March 6, Died: 6 March 1475. Birthplace: Caprese, Italy. Best known as: master sculptor. Name at birth: Michelangelo Buonarroti. he was an Italian sculptor, architect, painter, and poet. his great works were almost entirely in the serviceof the Catholic Church.one of his greatest works were of the biblical hero david.( a sculptor that was over 4 feet tall.) Michelangelo's mother died when he was only 6. His career is marked by a series of unique objects that are never repeated and scarcely imitated: Bacchus (1496)
Leonardo da Vinci: He was a artist, scienctest, sculptor, inventer, and musican. He had a great interest in math, science, and art. He had notebook/ sketch book that he keep. In his notebook/ sketch book he drew a lot of scketchs and never finished them. He also wrote down a lot of inventions that came to his mind but never told anyone, such as a helecoptor, or diving suit, ou inner tube to flout in the water. In his notebook/ sketch book he wrote all of his nots and letters backwords so the only way you could read it is in a morror. Some people thought he had dyslexia because he wrote backwards. He drew over 10,000 drawings. He was one of the first people in the renaissonse to draw people with emotion. He drew many famous paintings one of the most famous the Mona Lisa! He discoverd how to tell how old a tree was by its rings. He loved to draw cats, water, dogs, land scapes and lots of other animals. He drew a lot of curly cews and curls and swarls. He compared a lot of things in drawing. He was fasinated by goegrophy also. One thing that was very interesting he was a vegitarion. He was born on April 15, 1452(1452-04-15) Vinci, Florence, in present-day Italy. He died on May 2, 1519 (aged 67) Amboise, Indre-et-Loiore, in present-day France.
William Shakespeare: 1564-1616. Shakespeare wrote about ordinary people, nobles, and Kings and Queens. He was mainly a poet or a play writer, but he also did some art work in his time. He wrote the plays; Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, MacBeth, and Midsummer Night Dream. Shakespeare began his education at the age of six or seven at the Stratford grammar school. During the years that Shakespeare attended the school, at least one and possibly three headmasters stepped down because of their devotion to the Catholic religion proscribed by Queen Elizabeth. One of these masters was Simon Hunt (b. 1551), who, in 1578, according to tradition, left Stratford to pursue his more spiritual goal of becoming a Jesuit, and relocated to the seminary at Rheims.Shakespeare desired to marry a young girl named Anne. He never actually married her, he had just always wanted to.
